Volunteer, it’s good for you

Volunteer

Every March, over 250 volunteers from around the Bay Area log almost 2,500 hours to make the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival a success. SFIAAFF volunteers serve in a variety of capacities across the festival, from box office to galas and receptions, from ticket taking to driving festival guests.
Perks for volunteers include:

  • Vouchers for festival screenings
  • Meet film industry professionals and fellow film enthusiasts
  • Festival T-shirt
  • Volunteer Appreciation Party
  • Work off parking or traffic tickets incurred at various cities throughout the Bay Area

We ask all volunteers to commit to a minimum of three shifts over the course of the festival (approx. 12 hours), and attend one of the following Volunteer Orientations:

Returning Volunteers Orientation - Wednesday, February 21, 2007 from 6-8 pm

New Volunteers Orientation - Saturday, February 24, 2007 from 1-3 pm

The above orientations will take place at:

AMC Van Ness Theatres
